A clever little way to keep your Bare Natural soap and shampoo bars high and dry between uses!

One of the best ways to help your handmade soap and shampoo bars last longer is to let them dry properly between uses – which is why I was so pleased to find these clever little magnetic soap holders from Soapi.

Rather than leaving your bar sitting in water or on a wet soap dish, the Soapi holds it neatly against the wall, allowing air to circulate around the bar and helping it dry between uses.

It’s really simple to use too. The holder attaches to a clean, dry surface using strong waterproof adhesive, so there’s no drilling or suction cups needed. A small metal bottle cap is pressed into your soap or shampoo bar, which then connects to the magnet in the holder. Your bar stays securely in place until you’re ready to use it again.

The Soapi itself is made in Germany and its housing is made from recycled plastic containing around 90% discarded fishing nets and ropes, making it a lovely addition to a more plastic-conscious bathroom.

How to use

Make sure the surface is clean, dry and free from cleaning products, then firmly press the Soapi into place.

Wet your soap or shampoo bar and leave it for around an hour to soften slightly. Press a standard metal bottle cap from a drinks bottle approximately halfway into the bar, filling any gaps around the cap, and allow it to dry.

Once dry, simply place your bar against the Soapi and the magnet will hold it neatly in place.
