We use food grade Diatomaceous Earth (DE) to neutralise odour and absorb moisture. DE is almost pH neutral, meaning it won’t irritate the skin. It also works to draw out any toxins and heavy metals from the body.

Our guide to switching to natural deodorant

Ingredients:

Lavender – soothing, nourishing, antibacterial, anti fungal.

Tea tree – anti inflammatory, antibacterial, anti fungal.

Coconut oil – Beautifully soothing and healing but also antibacterial to help neutralise underarm odour

Shea butter – Super moisturising with vitamins A, E and F to promote skin cell health. Shea butter is also anti fungal and antibacterial to help stop odour.

Zinc oxide – A natural mineral found in the Earths crust. It’s very effective at reducing the growth of odour producing bacteria and has been used for centuries as a deodorant.

Diatomaceous earth – A naturally occurring fine powder formed from the fossilised remains of algae. It can help eliminate odour and absorb excess moisture.

Zinc ricinoleate – Comes from the seeds of the castor oil plant. It highly effective at absorbing odour causing molecules and trapping them , it’s much less harsh than sodium bicarbonate or baking soda.

Arrowroot – Nutrient rich and gentle. Helps you to stay dry by absorbing excess moisture

Sweet almond oil – Been used for centuries to soothe and calm skin irritation. It’s also rich in antioxidants, anti fungal and anti inflammatory.

Vitamin E – A Natural antioxidant that helps protect and heal skin.

Candalilla wax – A vegan friendly wax used to soothe and soften skin while thickening and stabilising the deodorant.

Why should you try our natural deodorant?

We had heard from a lot of people that although they wanted to move to a more natural skincare and wanted to do all they could to protect the environment they had been disappointed when they had tried natural deodorant, either they just didn’t work or caused skin irritation.

So we made it our aim to create a deodorant that really does the job while still being kind and gentle even on sensitive skin. So after working and testing (no animals, only people ?) for a long time we have finally got a natural deodorant that we are proud to add to our skincare range.
